Ajiri Teas give 100% of profits to support orphan education. This company was founded in 2008 by Sara Holby. After volunteering in western Kenya, Sara and her family wanted to create a sustainable project specializing in employment. They wanted to create a full cycle of sustainable aid. Ajiri Tea Company employ women to hand make the labels for the tea boxes and the twine bracelets inside each package. They sponsor 29 orphans in school and are currently employing four different women’s groups. Ajiri Tea Company offers select black tea flavors, as well as mango, lemon and chamomile. Bees Wrap is one of our favorite eco friendly sustainable products in our shop. Bees Wrap is used to package sandwiches and snacks when you’re on the go. The company was founded in 2012 by Sarah Kaeck in Vermont. Bee’s Wrap started with a question facing many families and home cooks: How could we eliminate plastics in our kitchen in favor of a healthier, more sustainable way to store our food?
